Easter Egg Hunt

We love doing activities at the air force base. This year they had an Easter egg hunt and had lots of games set up to play. They had a bouncy castle that Dylan really wanted to go play in, but there were a lot of big kids so he didn't get to this time. We went with our friends, and had such a fun time. We love spending time with them. Dylan loved playing the games. He has a really good arm and had so much fun throwing a ball. He has pretty good aim and can almost always hit you right in the face. We got to color and got a couple of books to take home. Then we went to the field for the Easter Egg hunt. Dylan and his friend were in the first group to go out. Dylan was so good at getting eggs and candy into his basket. He was so excited this year. He made sure to get every bit of candy that he could see. Later that week we had dinner at our house, and then decorated eggs. They had a great recipe for decorating eggs with kool aid. It made great colors, very bright, and the clean up was simple. With a five year old, and two toddlers, there was a bit of a mess. Dylan totally loved it. He still has his basket and comes up to me all the time and wants to find eggs. I'm so happy he can't open the fridge yet. We had an Easter egg hunt at home a few times, and he loved putting eggs in his basket. Then we let the dogs out to find an egg. They love hard boiled eggs. We had a fun Easter with friends and family.

  1. It's much more fun when the kids realize the game. He looks so excited. It looks like the dogs had fun too.

  2. Looks like fun. I love your pictures. So colorful--it is winter and pretty blah outside. I can't wait for spring to come again!
