Airshow, 2011
I love this time of year. It's cooling off outside, and such nice weather. It also brings the PBR and the Airshow. This was such a fun year at the airshow. We ended up going all three days. Friday isn't open to the public, just military family's, and isn't very crowded. Ben had the day off and was able to hang out with us all day. It was really cool having him there explaining what he's doing when he fly's. Dylan was asleep when we put his hearing protection on, I'm sure he woke up wondering why he couldn't hear. He loved being outside all day. Ben even stayed for the Thunderbirds, even though he's not a big fan. Then we went to Applebee's, and had a free dinner for Veteran's day. Saturday Ben was working the static display, so I came with a lot of friends. We spent some time hanging out with Ben while he was working. Then went and watched the planes. It was such a fun day. Then that evening we went and saw the Wranglers hockey game. It was a really exciting game. There were so many fights, the first one was before the timer even started, the next was 4 seconds in. We went into overtime, and with 27 seconds left the Wranglers scored and won. Such a great game. These teams really hated each other, they were throwing things at each while they were in the penalty box. We got free mullet hats, and got in for free for Veterans day. I love that so many people appreciate and support the people serving our county. I sure love my veteran. Sunday Ben was flying, so Dylan and I went and watched the combat rescue boys. It was really exciting to watch knowing that Ben was in the second helicopter. We had such a great time with friends and family.
