Big Bear, CA
We were really excited to go and visit Big Bear this summer. We had our honeymoon there, and have always wanted to go back. It was pretty cold coming from summertime in Nevada. I was really happy that we all had sweaters. We did a lot of hiking, and walking. The kids loved the swimming pool, and hot tub. They had a fun playground and there was a lot to do. On our last day we went to our favorite place to eat, The Bear Cafe. They have huge portions and Brenden was the only one that could finish his breakfast. He helped Sarah eat her breakfast too, the appetite of a growing boy. We had fun spending time at the lake and walking along the water. Dylan really liked seeing Ducks. We had a great time visiting Big Bear.
We'll have to check out Big Bear sometime. It looks super fun. Holy cow those pancakes are HUGE!

ReplyDeleteI like your pictures! Big Bear is a fun place to visit--we usually picked up Beck or her kids when we went. I wish she weren't quite so far away. I miss that girl! I'm glad you got to go back with Ben. Those pancakes really are something, aren't they? Next time we go there I'll have to let Dad have breakfast at that Grizzly Bear Cafe. We usually cook in the condo. But after Dad see those, I think he'll want to eat out!
