We went to Seaworld while we were in California. This was kind of a hard decision for me, they have a great program that supports military and military family's get in for free. I don't believe that whales and dolphins belong in captivity. They are such intelligent animals and Orca's stay with their family's their whole lives. They aren't doing a lot in regards to research, and had some information displayed that wasn't even correct. Orca's in captivity fight, and are dying really young. I've had the chance to see them in the wild and I think that they should to be free. Europe and other places are already making changes so they can't import these animals. Experts are finding that captivity doesn't work, it needs to be done with. I hope that there comes a time when you have to go on a whale watching boat to get to have an experience with these amazing animals. Do we really have the right to keep such a smart animal in captivity just for our amusement. With that said I hope you enjoy the pictures. We did have a fun day outside and getting to spend time with my Mom is always fun. Dylan made me laugh. We were watching killer whales, and dolphins, and he loved all the birds flying around. His favorite place was the sea lions, you could throw them fish, and they were very loud and demanding. He loved it. He really liked the turtles too, it was wall to wall aquariums. So peaceful to watch the turtles and fish. He could have stayed there all day. It was nice to get to see Jeremy and Brittney's family, and get to know her little ones better. Alex is sure a cutie, and the other two are really sweet. I'm really happy that we got to spend the day together.
