He hated the shirt that came with his suit, these are the faces I got while he was wearing it.
Dylan's baby blessing was so special. We had it at Mom's house because the doctor told us that during flu season he shouldn't go to church. That having so many people in a closed environment is really bad for a preemie. We had a bit of a stressful week before that, Ben was gone for two weeks. Dylan was sick for a week, he was throwing up, and just wanted to be held. It's hard to have such a little baby sick. I didn't get much sleep or much done that week. We had a flyball tournament that weekend in Utah, so when he felt better we went to my mom's. It was a lot of fun to be somewhere other then our own house. It was nice to have some help with Dylan. We went on a lot of walks, and had fun walking to mom's school to walk her home. We got to spend a little time with his cousins. I think that he and Alex are going to be good friends when their older. The dogs love going to my mom's house and playing with the other black dog. Stetson and Shadow had a great time and Shadow was in the pond the whole time protecting his special place. Ben surprised us and got everyone to agree to come back early, so Friday night I drove to Las Vegas to pick him up. My mom watched Dylan for us so he wouldn't have to be in a car for so long. It was so nice to see him after being apart for two weeks. I'm always excited to see him, but it sure doesn't look like it compared to the dogs. Stetson jumps up in his arms and licks him all over, Maverick starts talking and jumping up around him, and Randsom looks for a ball to give him. He bought a bear for Dylan that makes music, and Dylan loves it. Dylan was pretty happy to have his daddy back. That weekend we had flyball, I'll put the pictures from that up soon. Monday we had his blessing, and then we went back to Vegas after it was over.
His blessing was so special, it was so nice to have have family come over. My dad did the blessing, and did such a great job. Dylan was blessed with health, and that he will love life. That he'll be a peacemaker, and that he'll have a love of the scriptures. That so many people love him and his heavenly father loves him. It was such a special blessing. Thanks so much dad.
He was crying for about twenty minutes before the blessing, fell asleep right before, and woke up right after. We had Pat Jenson from Hurricane 7th ward come over. Brad was able to come over, it was really nice that he was here at our baby blessing, the last time we saw him was when he married us. My good friend Gail came with her husband Allen. Our friends Casey and Andrea came with their little girls. From the family we had my Mom and Dad, Jessica, Jenny and Aaron, Justin, Jeremy and Brittney with their little boys. We had a fruit tray, lemonade, chocolate eclairs, and chocolate cupcakes. Thanks so much for everyone that could come, it was such a special day.

I have so many new pictures that I don't really know where to start. Sorry to take so long between putting pictures on. It's crazy how little you get done when your feeding a baby every two hours. It doesn't leave time for a whole lot of other things. It's pretty funny that such a little guy can be so demanding. I'm so thankful for my husband, he's always here to help with whatever I need. Last week it was a shoulder to cry on, then he took care of everything while I took a long bath. Sometimes I have such a bad attitude. While I was pregnant it made me mad to see pregnant girls that had no problems, and were just happy and glowing. Now it's parent's that babies sleep for four or more hours at a time, really just want to kick them. I can't wait until this little guys stomach is big enough to keep him full for awhile. Last week he was 8 pounds 10 ounces. He's still in infant clothes and diapers. He's so little but advanced in other things. He's reaching out for toys and pulling them in his mouth. He's really alert and awake for four hours or so at a time. More if he can make his eyes stay open. He rolls over all the time, and will scoot around. He loves baths, not in the sink, and will just kick and kick. It always makes him cry to get out, I totally understand that. He'll go to sleep for a little while as soon as he's dressed. He hates wet or dirty diapers, he wants to be changed now. I'm hoping that it makes him easy to potty train. He smiles so much, and is making noise all the time. Grunts and ahh ahh sounds. He looks around when he hears your voice and try's to find you. He is a very happy, but demanding baby, no patience at all. I see so much of Ben in him, but he has my stubborn personality. Poor little guy, lol. I've told him that when I was a baby I wanted to be put in my crib and left alone, but he doesn't think that's the way to go. He loves to be out of the house, he likes music and lights. It's amazing to see how much personality he has for such a little man.

After his bath, when he finished crying over having to get out.
We've had such a busy few weeks. Jenny and Aaron came to Las Vegas to see a race and Jenny and I took Dylan to the strip. He loved all the lights and would have loved to stay in the casino. We saw the water show at the Bellagio, and all the fall decorations. It's such a pretty place. It was fun to spend the day with Jenny.

Dylan at the Bellagio, he loves walking around in his carrier and being able to look at everything.
We had a really busy weekend last week. Friday we went to a wranglers hockey game. It was so much fun, we won 9-3. Dylan loved it, and was awake pretty much the whole time. He was so tired in the third quarter, but kept his eyes open until we started walking out. He loved all the music, and lights.

Saturday night we went to Darren and Sierra's Halloween party. They always have a great party, with carving pumpkins, homemade root beer, and chili. Ben carved a pumpkin for Dylan. It was his first time carving a pumpkin and he did such a great job. He's such a good dad. Then we watched Hocus Pocus on a projector on the wall. Dylan was overtired when the movie came on and didn't want to sit on the couch and watch. So we took turns walking him around until he finally fell asleep. It was such a fun party.

Dylan loved his costume, it was so warm and soft. He had big smiles when I put it on him.
Sunday we had the PBR that we go to every year. This year my dad couldn't make it. He had games in Salt Lake, this is the first time he's missed it in three years. Justin came and spent the night and went with us. Darren and Sierra came and watched too. It was a great year. My favorite guys have had a rough season, and didn't have a good night. The boys from Brazil beat everyone, they've had a really good year. I love the PBR, it's so much fun. This was Ben and Dylan's first year, and they had a good time. I love this time of year, it cools down and is so nice to be outside. The airshow at Nellis is coming up soon, we're so excited for it. I still have to put on pictures from flyball, and from the PBR. I need to put on Dylan's baby blessing. Dylan's awake, so it's going to have to wait, because Dylan won't.

I've been choosing time with my husband and sleep before writing. I have a lot of pictures to post and will try to get it done this week.
It's so hard getting out of the house with a baby. I thought that dogs were a pain, but a baby is so much harder. They're not bad once we're out of the house, but getting out takes about forty minutes on a good day, yesterday was not. Ben hurt his back and has been on some pretty good medicine, the kind that you can't drive while taking. I was on my way to pick him up from work and while strapping Dylan in his car seat he throws up all over himself, the seat, and me. It took another ten minutes to get both of us changed. The next time we're getting ready he starts peeing as I'm changing his diaper, I put the top of the diaper back up to stop the flow. I get a new diaper under him, clean him up and put baby powder in his clean diaper. Then he starts peeing again, a huge stream this time, guess he was saving it, and just tricking me before. I'm grabbing wet wipes to clean up the couch and Dylan grabs the diaper and starts flinging powder everywhere. It got all over the couch and made a paste with the pee. I'm so happy he didn't pee on me though. Boys are fun. lol.

I was missing Ben, so I played dress the baby in his daddy's clothes. We had a good time, and did get a few good pictures.
Well it's 1:30 AM, and I just got Dylan to sleep. He's going to be up in an hour to eat, and it's not worth trying to sleep for an hour.
This morning around ten the power went off. I had just gotten back from the gym, and thought it was a pain, but at least it's not 110 outside. I wasn't using the air condition anyway, just fans. Then I got ready to take a shower and we didn't have any water either. I thought it would be one of those quick fixes, but it's in the middle of the night, and still no water. I took the dogs to the park, and then took them on a walk, went back home and still no power or water. I was going to have Darren and Sierra over for massages, and let them know that my house wasn't going to work out. Sierra saved the day, and let me come play at her house. She is going to be taking infant pictures this weekend, so we wanted to try some things with Dylan. He didn't like that idea, he was pretty happy until the camera came out. He loves Sierra, but as soon as she tries to take pictures he cries. Such a trouble maker. We got home just after 11:00 and there was a plumbers truck in my parking spot. Not a good sign. There were six plumbers working, and big holes in the lawn. They said that they would hopefully turn water on in the morning for an hour, then it would be off most of the day. Power would be on and off. It's a pretty big problem and could be a few days before it's fixed. I love that Vegas is a 24 hour town, it's nice that plumbers work all night. Guess I'll shower at the gym tomorrow. Looking back it really wasn't that bad of of day. It turned out pretty fun, it was nice to be outside a lot of the day, and then fun playing at our friends house. Baby's awake and hungry, then it's bedtime for both of us.
